| Bi-Protec® is a patented product with no insecticide produced with special quality of Sodium Bicarbonate and amorpheous silica in controlled conditions. Bi-Protec® is not a dangerous product for humans and animals; it is not in the list CE 1995/45/CE of dangerous products. Bi-Protec® can be used in organic farm in respect of regulation CEE no 2092/91 of June 24 1991.

Red mites are a real plague for hens. They hide during the day (when there is light in the building) because they hate light. During the night the go out their hiding place in order to go and eat the blood of hens that are sleeping. The effects on hens are various and can increase the mortality of hens because of the anemia and stress, can reduce the the production of eggs and increase the risk of infection.
