Solvay is the world’s largest producer of hydrogen peroxide, persalts and related specialty products with facilities in Europe, the United States, Asia-Pacific and South America.  Closeness to the customer, excellent logistics and a collaborative network of production sites are a key factor for growth in the peroxides business. The principal customer markets for hydrogen peroxide and detergents are the pulp and paper industry, the detergents industry, the chemicals industry, water treatment and the environment, the pharmaceuticals industry, electronics, metallurgy and textiles.

Hydrogen Peroxide Hydrogen peroxide is available in various standard and speciality grades. Each grade is available in up to four concentrations, ranging from 35 to 70 %.

Peracetic Acid Peracetic acid (PAA) is a highly effective biocide. Solvay manufactures a range of high quality peracetic acid solutions, sold under the trade names Proxitane® and Oxymaster®.

Solvay Inorganic Peroxides -Ixper Ixper® is our tradename for inorganic peroxides. The Ixper® based on Calcium and Magnesium are used in a wide range of applications exploring their unique properties to release slowly oxygen or to provide performance benefits of hydrogen peroxide delivered in a sparingly soluble powder form.

Solvay Persalts Solvay Persalts offers a complete range of solid inorganic persalts. Their formulation flexibility, performance, ease of use, environmental acceptability and availability has ensured that persalts are key ingredients in many formulations.
