The Strategic Business Unit Detergent produces a portfolio of peroxygen based products suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including bleaching and cleaning in the Detergent industry. The range of product characteristics available allows a flexible approach to formulating for specific end uses. In addition, the Chemical Sector of Solvay also offers alkali and related products for use in cleaning and detergent applications : for example, sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, caustic soda, sodium chloride, perchloroethylene, sodium hypochlorite, glycerin.

Solvay Inorganic Peroxides -Ixper Ixper® is our tradenames for inorganic peroxides. These products are used to provide performance benefits of hydrogen peroxide delivered in a sparingly soluble powder form. The charcateristics of Ixper® based on Calcium and Magnesium make them suitable for use in a wide range of applications.

Solvay Persalts Solvay Persalts offers a complete range of solid inorganic persalts. Their formulation flexibility, performance, ease of use, environmental acceptability and availability has ensured that persalts are key ingredients in many formulations.
