PROXITANE® AHC 

The breeding and rearing of livestock is essential to meet world requirements for food. Disinfectants are extensively used to control and minimise diseases affecting animals. PROXITANE^® AHC offers our customers one of the best active ingredients to replace traditional disinfectants. It is a formulated equilibrium mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, water and surfactant, allowing superior wetting of sprayed surfaces.

The antimicrobial performance of PROXITANE^® AHC has been established against a wide range of microorganisms considered to be the most relevant in animal health care. Concentrations needed will depend on the contact time available, the type of disease-causing organisms and the level of organic contamination present.

PROXITANE^® AHC has been tested and proven effective against many viruses including :

PROXITANE^®  AHC can be used for a variety of applications ranging from routine animal house disinfection to use in foot  / boot baths. It is suitable for use under cold conditions and can be used for flushing, soaking, pressure washing and fogging.
