It is mainly used in chemical reactions (i.e. synthesis of HCFC-22).Thanks to its exceptional characteristics, especially its high solvent power, it is also used in other applications such as extractions, etc.

Thanks to their remarkable properties, Chloroform (low stabilisation with amylene) is especially suitable as chemical reagant, for example for the production of fluorinated products. 

The chlorinated solvents have to be selected according to the kind of application. Our technical departments are at your disposal to help you to determine which solvent is the most appropriate and how to handle it.

Some applications of this product may be regulated or restricted by national or international standards (e.g. for food additives, water treatment, the pharmaceutical industry, etc).
