Calcium Chloride

CASO Calcium Chloride is one of Solvay's oldest products, and it still remains important today. Over the years, Solvay has adapted the applications of CASO to meet the demands of users as diverse as the agricultural and food & feed industries and civil engineering. It is also used extensively in the oil industry, in water treatment processes, for treating roads in winter and summer, and for domestic and industrial dehumidification.

CASO® Feed Grade

Solvay is manufacturing and placing on the market dihydrate calcium chloride (CASO^® FEED), feed material of mineral origin in conformity with European Directive 2002/32/EU and its amendments on undesirable substances in animal feed.

CASO® Food Grade

CASO^®FCC Flakes, is a dihydrate calcium chloride food grade of mineral origin. In the context of the European Regulation N° 1333/2008 on food additives, permitted for use in foodstuffs, and European Directive 2008/84/EC, laying down specific purity criteria for food additives other than colours and sweeteners, CASO^® FCC is characterized by the European Number E 509 referring to 'calcium chloride'.

CASO® Technical Grade

CASO^® Calcium Chloride technical grade can be used in various applications in industrial, public and private sectors.
