In its 7 research facilities all over the world, Solvay Chemicals supports its startegy of innovation and sustainibility with highly skilled people and openess to collaboration with external partners.

Two new research centers are currently under construction in Korea and China. They will give a boost to Solvay’s growing presence in Asia. Each center will focus on customer-tailored innovation for the region by leveraging the various strengths of the Group, focusing on open innovation with the regional academic world, approaching key markets and applications and fostering Asian talent. By launching these centers in Asia, Solvay Chemicals shows it is committed to endorse the projects of its customers and to help them develop innovative products and services.

More precisely, the center in Korea will be driven by high-growth markets such as electronics, lithium ion batteries and photovoltaic cells, whereas the center in China will tailor innovative solutions for the tremendous Chinese market.
